IP (spam)
| | Every piece of spam that goes into the OptOut project has an originating IP address in its header. From that IP address, two sets of coordinates are derived; the first two IP octets creating a red pixel and the last two creating a blue pixel. Those pixels are then summed into the image above, resulting in an ever evoling piece of algorithmic art. It is possible to see the general trends in spam origin in the image.
