IP (2)

IP (2)

Every time an HTML document is fetched from bluestarfolly.com, the IP address of the remote client is recorded. In the case of IP (2), the four octets of that address are used to generate a CMYK color, which is then converted to an RGB pixel. New pixels are added to the image chronologically, from left to right, top to bottom. When the lower right corner is reached, the position is reset to the upper left. The piece is updated automatically, but is not real-time.
