Fellare II
Casual fellatio, represented in black Velcro® hooks on foam-core.
The second piece in series of mixed-media works showing friends and acquaintances performing fellatio on the artist. The image is only visible at specific angles, appearing as a solid, black rectangle from other view points.
Is it possible, in light of American culture and sexual repression, to invite friends to perform a sexual act, without changing the preexisting relationship? Can the act be performed without creating any expectations in either participant (false, or otherwise)? Does the very act of asking change the relationship?
