The All-God
| | A composite of 689 images of Christ, Buddha, Yahweh/Allah, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The source images from Composite Messiah, Composite Buddha, Composite Yahweh, Composite Brahma, Composite Vishnu and Composite Shiva were weighted by the number of believers in each deity and then combined to create an All-God. | | | | | | | | The source images used to generate this composite consist of paintings, drawings, photographs of sculptures, and images from popular media (such as television or film). By creating these images, it is my intent to uncover clues regarding the collective, cultural representation of deity, and to inspire discourse.
The image is created by compositing (combining, layering, averaging) groups of exisiting photographs (or other images) into a single work.
